After a quick medical questionnaire and safety briefing, we can get straight to the fun stuff! Some centers only do DSDs in a pool; we are lucky to have a beautiful life-filled bay right on our doorstep, so you can get a feel for what scuba diving is all about from the very first underwater breath!
The Discover Scuba Diving program may be completed as the first step towards getting certified or just purely for fun.
Ages from 10 years up.
The kids want to join in the fun as well, of course they do! For obvious reasons very young children are not allowed to dive with scuba, but once they are 8 years old they can take the first scuba plunge with the PADI Bubblemaker program.
Maximum depth is just 2 metres, so, like the DSD, most centers do this in a pool, but here, we have a sheltered, shallow bay that is perfect to give your children a safe and wonderful place to have their first underwater experience.
